Our Building Process.

One of the biggest ways we build trust and ensure proper communication with our clients is through our multi-step process.

Discovery

Let’s meet up to understand the goals of the project for design and space usage, as well as your financial goals. Every project has different objectives as to what is important to each client. This is the point of discovery where we will take notes, ask questions, and throw around some initial ideas. If we have some benchmarks, we will do some preliminary discussion of costs, to see where everyone wants to be.

 

Follow Up

We take the information from the discovery process and come back with an educated estimate, noting options where it makes sense, and to confirm if the project is on point with where you want to be with scope and pricing.

Contract

When we have the selections we need, construction ready documents for us to obtain firm numbers, identify an initial schedule, we can then proceed to the agreement (contract). We will identify where we stand for timing and anything contingent to start.

 

Construction Process

We will gladly keep you updated on the schedule and financials, as well as addressing any concerns you might have as the project proceeds. At appropriate benchmarks, we will walk the project together to make sure we are capturing everything. Everyone is on the team, including you, our client!

Design Phase

Once we are aligned on the project and everyone is comfortable, we will then advance to the design phase with the appropriate member of our design team. We will also give you our Preferred Vendor Sheet so you can start shopping the allowance related items.

 

Take A Timeout

What? In the world of custom construction and rapid gratification, we feel it is responsible to make sure the selections and details are on point with the budget to help guide you with your decision-making process. Once everyone is comfortable with where things stand, we can then advance to the final drawings.

Closing / Warranty

When we are at the agreed benchmark, we will notify you of the closing date, so you can then move in and enjoy the spaces we worked hard to create for you. Once the project is complete, all materials provided by us will be under our one-year workmanship warranty, and all manufacturer warranties will apply accordingly. All new homes and qualifying additions/remodels will also be provided the Great Cleveland HBA warranty booklet.
